Hi

my new 5x2 viv is close to completion. I am going to put a 250 watt ceramic in there and I just wondered what brand people recommend?

why not go for a 300w kamodo, works well find i used that in a 6x2.5x2

I was emailing microclimate recently and they suggested using Solaris Heat because they use them in their AHS. If i'm correct, Solaris Heat were once something to do with Pearlco, I think the owner started Solaris Heat and shut the other.

yeah they are one in the same, the Ebay user name selling Pearlco is Solaris-heat : victory:

I've bought the Pearlco stuff from eBay. Seem good quality and not expensive. :2thumb: Think I paid just under £12 for each of mine, incl. P+P.

If you're paying £20 per bulb in the shops and you need a few, it soon starts to mount up.
