first egg laying has been done last night by my veiled. Question is , is it normal for them to just dig around on the top when they have finished just scratching at the surface, looking at her she looks reli skinny so i presume she hasnt held any back for some reason. i was expecting her to be tired and wanting water n food but all she has done is surface scrathed. Normal??
cheers

she sounds like she is making sure she has recovered all her eggs.has she not returned to her branches? is she still in the layingbox?
once she returns to the branches then thats the time to go see how many eggs she layed.
she will need water and a good top up of calcium tomake up for what she has lost during the egg producing stages.
she will be hungry if not today then tomorrow.
count all her eggs and keep and eye on her just incase she hasnt finished.
