My mums bf has asked me to ask a question which he wants to know is true or not. Apparently when 2 chameleon males fight the loser will turn grey as it backs away and the winner will stay green. Is this true?

depends which species but usaully the male that wins will begin to display and go as bright as possible (as they fight to for the best territory and the best females). the losing male (usually the smaller) will try and appear small and go dark so as not to appear a threat to the winners 'ego'...Maybe not grey exactly but ceratainly darker..
