Hi, I'm picking up a Chinese Cave gecko soon, is it best to get a glass Terrarium or a smallish wooden Viv, I'm edging towards the Terrarium to help with humidity, will I also need a humid hide? Im getting a baby one so I'm looking at kitchen roll for substrate until it's a bit older for full bio active... i will be feeding small Dubai roaches, can I use crested gecko powder also? Any good tips or advice will be welcome.. thanks

The material the viv is made of doesn't really matter as long as you can get the temperature correct.

Yes to a humid hide

No to kitchen roll, use soil or coco fiber

I would recommend crickets over dubias

No they dont eat crestie diet

Other tips. They're very very shy, incredibly nocturnal and don't like being handled.
