I have had them for a week today and in the past two days one has taking to sneezing (a fair bit this morning) other than that they are healthy, no obvious gunky noses, eating and drinking well and have come out of their shell/not so terrified.

I have put some vicks on the top of their cage lid (on the inside but they can't reach it) and will l take them to the vets next weekend (or sooner if it worsens) if they have not improved. (well before contacting a vet's ill contact Pets at home as I got them from there and its only been a week)

any other suggestions please?

We have named them "Genghis" and "khan" (since Chinese hamsters also originate from Mongolia) "Mongolian death hamsters!" (which is quite the oposite of their meek behaviour) :lol2:

They are both boys and no fighting so far! (I hope it'll stay that way lol)

no one?

I have put them on 'allergy' free paper/tissue bedding and I'm hoping that'll help them - its only one still and there's no goop or anything so I'm hoping its allergy's.

either way pets at home claim they'll cover the vets bill if it needs to go. :2thumb:
