My 1st ever one and i really do find this so different from my royals. The Arboreal bit.. climbing.. love it! totally find this bit fascinating! At first i found it odd to have a new species, but beginning to love it.

I only hope it doesn't grow to big.. i've heard 6-9ft.. if it exceeds i'll cry

congrats on the new snake and yeah i like watching my boas climb all over the joint, if its a male it wont get much bigger than 6ft id say, a female could get to that size but all depends on the parents

Saying they average at around 6ft doesn't mean they won't grow bigger... Depends on feeding schedule, genetics etc.... You just managed to pick a particually big male (lucky git!)

i think boas are great especially at feeding time!
