Hi, we have just rescued this snake from someone who could no longer care for it or buy it a tank big enough and we are having trouble confirming which morph it is lol.

Any suggestions welcome, (no time wasting please :) )

Thanks in advance

its over 5 foot long, has a pure red belly and rather large eyes, not HUGE though, lol, thinking it may be a rosy rat x??
Rosy rats aka keys rats have been classified as the same as patherophis guttata (corns). Theres nothing to suggest it's a hybrid to me. Corns get big, a 5ft corn is pretty normal.

Thats normal... classic corns get lots of red belly colour as they age. Some do, some don't.

I would say it is a normal as well. They vary so much in colouration as well as length and can be very misleading at times.I had a large female that was pretty much the same including the very red belly scales and i had her from a hatchling as well. She was sold to me as a normal and i thought there may be a little bit more to it but trying her with different males just proved her out as a normal in the end.
