Hi

I have an adult female cornsnake just over 5 ft, she is feeding fine on defrost mice and nice and healthy. I know corns dont need any variety in there diet, but just wondering what treats I could offer every now and again? Have heard small chicks are ok every couple of weeks? Any advice would be appreciated.

tbh, i would stick with mice as chicks don't offer as much nutritional value. My corn is on weaner rats at the mo, they're a bit fattier (putting weight back on him after a loooooong fast earlier this year), and they're bonier too (more calcium). I heard somewhere that if you feed a corn chicks they start refusing rodents, but i don't know for sure how acurate this is :)

Yeah, best stick to the rodents.... You wanna give it a treat, try a similar sized rat or even a gerbil...
