i am looking to buy a corn snake . can somebody give me some basic advice on what i will need to keep one and feed one etc ..also a i dea of a full set up price would be help ful

depends how you define fun...
mine isnt too keen on being gotten out but it completly fine once out
at the moment shes on pinkies (every five days) and mine hasnt really got a name yet, cant think of one that would suit her :lol:

you can often get the full set up for a hatchling , including the snake for les than £50

For a hatchling all you need is:

A heat mat:

A small water bowl, 2 thermometers, kitchen towel as substrate, cardboard tubes for hides and one of these to keep it in:

And obviously some food - pinkies to start with.

After about 6 months it'll probably need a larger enclosure, like this:

Then when its about a year old you'd need to get a proper viv for it - one about 36 inches long and 18 inches wide.

So to start with you can get all you need (not including the snake) for under £50. It'll need a couple of pinkies a week, and as it grows bigger you give it larger mice - fluffs, hoppers, etc, up to adult mice when the snake is 3 or 4ft long. It'll cost £1 per week to feed maximum.
