my beardie is in a 3x2x2 at the moment and he's fine (he is only small), i'm currently waiting for a double stack of 4x2x2 to arrive and then he is moving into 1 of those for extra space,

others use 4x2x2 as a minimunm, some people go 5-6-8ft vivs

its just a guideline and your personal preference, 4ft is a good size viv and has plenty of room for logs etc etc, but most of all floor space, some beardies fully grown are over 20 inches and need room to "turn around" and a lot of floor space including climbing area

Cool cheers 4 that rasperandy its jus it kinda seems 2 me that if a beardie can grow up 2 2" then a 3" deep viv gives more space 2 turn round in n th 3" height would give more space 4 branches n climbin n also has more sq foot of space than a longer but less deep viv!K sound i can get a hold o some slate tiles so think il get some!Ny idea on best way 2 cut em if i need 2?

don't cut them, if you hit it carefully with a happer on the edge it breaks off in small chippings don't hit it from the top just the sides on the edge it's dead easy
