I thought this when I got my first Crestie. It's very rare to see them actually eat. I constantly had Repashy in with it and kept it fresh, but never saw her touch it and never saw it go down.

If it's pooping, you know it's eating. Throw a couple of crickets in and see what happens. Make sure the crix are no bigger than the distance between the gecks eyes though.

What you feeding it and what's your set up like?

Have you got an crested gecko diet mix in there? Repashy, Zoo med etc?

It can take them a while to settle in, so i wouldn't worry too much yet, i would stick to a good diet like pangea or repashy, the zoo med stuff is rubbish, keep an eye out for poop if you see that he's eating. Put a thin layer of food in a milk bottle lid as you will be able to see the lick marks to tell if he's been eating.

You could try and see if your crestie will lick food off your fingers, if he licks food off your fingers then he's probably also eating in his cage
