well.... I decided to have a go at breeding crested geckos this year... from what ive read ive done everything which has been said and up until 2 weeks ago I thought everything was going good. The first egg was meant to hatch 2 weeks ago. It swelled up, ad then it looked like it pipped the egg...but it didn’t collapse ad eventually sealed over. ima bit concerned now as it looks like it is discolouring compaired to the other eggs. There was a substance like a jelly on the egg where the "pip" came, this happened twice.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, as I have another 8 eggles in there and if there’s anything I could do to stop it happening again then that would be brilliant...

Unfortunatey this sometimes happens, all you can do is wait and see if it hatches (or not) are the others looking good.? If the other eggs are ok its probably just one of those things, some just aren't meant to hatch for whatever reason. Whatever happens good luck with the others
