Would it be safe to feed just on locusts and wax worms? I know this is what they like eating but not sure about nutrition value of these and if it would be a suitable replacement
Don't know what your trying to feed but I'd vote against feeding locusts as staple and waxies certainly can't be.... Locusts have a lower calciumhosphorus ratio and can't really be fed as staple. You should always use crickets, roaches or silkworms as staple supplemented with outer foods!
That would be a much better idea than just locusts...
Word of warning Silkworms are expensive but roaches are easy to breed and a small colony would keep you going forever! There was someone selling some in the classifieds
