hi guys, got a 3ft exo terra glass terrarium with a light canopy that is going to house 2x 25watt exo terra sun glo lightbulbs. the hot end on the terrarium needs to reach 80F which is no problem at all but i have only just heard of pulse proportional thermostats....which is better the pulse or the dimming, i already have dimming stats on each of my snake tanks

many thanks
kerrie

pulse thermostats are only good for ceramics or non light emitting heat sources, as otherwise it would be turning the light off and on constantly.

stick with dimmers on lights mate :)

80F, i'm keeping False Tomato Frogs, read a care sheet on here that while they are young (and they are dinky =D) they only need a hot end of 80F and can be raised slightly when they get older.

Thanks for the advice, will stick to the dimming then, thanks guys:no1:
