Hi guys. My name is Mikey and I'm new to the forum. I am hoping that someone may be able to help me with my boy steeeeve. He is a 3 year old irian jaya carpet python that i have had for a little while now. When I got him he looked like he was ready to shed but he didn't for weeks. After steeeeve shed his skin around 2/3 days he looked like he had been dusted over with talkom powder. (powdery between scales) He shed a week ago and is back to being "dusty" any help would be amazing. Thanks guys.

What substrate are you using? I'd imagine the dust is coming from that. After a snake has shed it feels different to how it normally does, I don't know how to explain it, but I think they could attract dust after a shed.
