Just thought I'd add this to the forum encase anyone is interested in owning this true spider. it is a great spider to watch and it appears the set up is rather easy to set up I only got this spider a few weeks ago from the spider shop so I'm still learning. I'm adding a youtube link so anyone interested can have a nose at the progress so far and the set up so far.

cheers mate. The setup is very straight forward all i did was bought a 'really useful box' from hobby craft and attached some cork bark using cable ties through pre drilled holes. In answer to your question. from what ive read and found it says that the females are normally larger being this is a rather large orb weaver im guessing its a female not a male but to be honest im still learning. lol
