Hi all I will be buying a bearded dragon within the next few weeks and I just have a few questions about feeding.
I went to the pet shop near me and I was having a look at the live food and I seen "Silent crickets" so I am just wondering can I feed my bearded dragon these instead of normal crickets?
How do I know what size crickets to feed him?
How often do I feed him?
How many crickets a day do I feed him?
Do I feed him vegetables also?
Where do I store the crickets or silent crickets when I get them?

Silent aren’t really silent

Size depends on the beardies size.

And they need veg etc too. That’s their main diet. Veg daily. And crickets a few times a week ideally.

Hi, are you getting a hatchling, juvenile or adult, and what size and type of enclosure do you have?
The hatchlings and juveniles will take more animal protein but you still need to offer vegs, etc even if they don`t eat much of that food.
These animals do not take a specific amount of any food type in the wild, they will eat what`s more readily available, meaning sometimes more animal protein, sometimes more vegs, etc..
If you are planning to offer supplements, can you say which type, because they are mostly just guesswork, some of no benefit?
