I'll get better pic's up once they have shed, fed and are settled,I've
3 golddusts,2 ultramels and one amel so far. There's 4 more heads out and
hopefully 3 more eggs to pipe.

And the father.

Cool , you have gotta love those hybrid genetics .

Paul.

There has been test breeding done in the U.S last year that would
suggest that the ultra gene is not from gray rat snakes. My males
from serpenco and Rich Z is pretty sure there is no white
oak blood in his line. There will be more test breeding done this year
that I think will prove there a pure corn.
It seems the case that all the breeders that didn't get into the Ultra
gene are the one's shouting hybrid but couldn't prove it.
Russel Keys in the states was able to prove his white oaks were
not carrying the ultra gene. Look at that golddust, there's nothing
that shout hybrid to me.

Hey SCI i wasnt trying to start a hybrid vs pure issue.

belive me my friend , i know a thing or two about introducing genes, i created ultra corns back in 1995 from white oaks, i dont need to shout about anything.
Forget about other people testing , have you done any of your own testing.
A big problem seems to be that if certain people say its not hybrid too many people take it for granted and just go along with what they say, and dont even test breed for themselves.

i wont name names, but many breeders have played with creating hybrids ( and it goes back quite some years ), i have email proof of coversations between breeders that have introduced hybrid genetics into their pure lines..

Oh and just because a snake doesnt (shout hybrid), that doesnt meen it isnt.

Any way
cool snakes

No I haven't tested them but I wouldn't think Rick z had the
Rep he has selling hybrids as corns.Just because some white oaks
seem to produce ultra type snakes doesn't mean the gene can't be
found in pure corns.
