I am having trouble with keeping humidity in my cage because i have a mesh top, but i was thinking if i cover it with foil it could help with keeping humidity in, but i just want to know if foil could potentially be harmfull to my snake.

Thanks.

agreed great minds and all..... most of the viv shoul be fine leave a little but most reptiles don't need loads of ventilation. Most of the time with high humidity its to help stop fungi etc growing

You probably have a side vent yes? Then you could cover all of the top.

As long as you've got at least two small areas uncovered (preferably one at each end) then you'll get a through-flow of air no problem.
