I've noticed my corn occasionally gaping. Not continuously, just once, every now at then.

I have a book that says gapping is a sign of respiritory problems, though there is no excess mucus, red spots inside the mouth, or wheezing. I'm not counting shortly after a feed, as I know they do this then. The jaw line looks aligned OK etc.

Do they just do this sometimes, or should I be worried?

my corn gapes when its getting ready to shed, helps to loosen the skin on the head, could be that.

Snakes yawn? It was just coming out of it's hide... and it shed last week, so hopefully it's just a combination of the 2. Phew.
