I read somewhere a very long time ago that you can rip through a geckos skin if you pick them up...

is this true?

Is it only for a certain type of gecko?

My leos are fine with being handled!

Thought I had seen this question before, but maybe not

I am not aware of any gecko that springs to mind whos skin is that delicate.

When you think of where they all come from, skin like that would not offer any protection, so I would say, IMHO, thats crap !

However, if someone knows otherwise, I for one would love to know

Yeah my leos are fine but someone on here the other week said they hated gecko skin cause it was fragile... so it made me wonder if it was geckos in general.
