What is the best type of glove to use and where can i get them, want them for myself and my brother but especially my girlfriend lol she wont let me get anymore untill she is comfortable with them and i want to build up my own confidence aswell
i only have 2 corns, 1 hatchling and 1 3yr old, i know they are only corns but the older i have aquired from a family friend who didnt really have time for it and he wasnt handled much at all so he is fairly snappy and caught me the other day so knocked my confidence a bit.
i have used gloves in the past on my bad tempered common. all i can say is i dont use them at all now as i use a hook which is better for both myself and the snake. be careful what gloves you get as they wont stop the teeth of a big python or boa and also you cant tell how tight you are holding the snake with thick gloves so you could cause some damage and you also could end up with the snake leaving some teeth in the gloves. just some food for thought thats all
for a corn i personally wouldnt use gloes, for the reasons already stated, i doubt they will do much damage if they get you :lol2: but a hook would be better, if you have one or know how to use it.
