how long befor feeding live food to a bearded dragon should it be gut loaded ??

Basically, you should feed the food from when you get it until you feed them to the beardie - so that there's going to be food in the crickets/locusts when the beardie eats them.

It'll also help your livefood live longer.

i tend to give my insects 1 or 2 days before i start feeding em to anything but there's not really correct amount of time

there is a correct amount of time you need to gutload before feeding the insects need to be gutloaded at least 24-48 hours before feeding.
but like Ssthisto says as long as you are keeping your insects in a sutible container with food available for them at all times you wont have any problems.

make sure if your using fresh veg to gut load that u change the veg everyday.dont want to be feeding your future prey bad food.:2thumb:
