One Captive Bred Pair of Hairy Armadillos, Very Reluctant Sale of a lovely pair of animals. Male is 5 female is 4 were sold to me as an unrelated pair 18 months ago. They bred successfully last year.

These are specialist animals requiring lots of care and space, they are feed on a mixed diet of fruit, veg, animal protein and livefood. Both animals are handled regularly, they like their heads scratched!

They need a decent sized enclosure mine have access to outside in the summer as they love to dig, this also means you need a solid bottom to any enclosure that you put them in as they are capable of digging out. They would probably be ok with not outside if the enclosure was large enough as we keep them in all winter with no ill affects.

No time waster please they are a lovely pair of animals and require proper care.

The reason I have not put a price is I am not sure what they are worth at the moment I payed over £3000 for them so I don’t know if their worth more or less than that now, I apologise for not posting a sooner reply and having to try your patience but I have been outside looking after my animals
