hi what should the heat be at the hot end for rankins? the themostat say's 86f is this ok? or do we need a better bulb we have a 60w at the min?

I have my basking temps in the mid 90s for them.

The thermostat isn't really a good guide for the actual temps. The best thing is digital in/out therm which will give you the ambient temps. An tempgun will record the basking temps.

Mine are approx 75-77 ambient cool end and 85-90 hot end with basking temps on their rock at approx 100-110 depending where they are on their rock.
