hi if your furanium is 17 x 10 what size heat mat would i need i worked out about 10 6 im i wrong or will it need to be bigger or smaller tythis is for corn snakes

I'd say you could use any size as long as it's not too small.
The faunarium doesn't have to cover the whole mat - just sit enough of one end over the mat to get the gradient.

ok just baught a Heat Strip 35"x6 which will cover the 3 ends of 3 furaniums will that be ok

That should be fine just make sure you dont put anymore that 1/3 of the tubs on the mat
