i have built a rack which is nearly 4 foot long and 2 foot deep, with that i have brought 47" x 6" habistat heat mats.
my problem is getting the temperature up to 90.i can get it up to 77 but need it warmer.
how do others do it,i know i could get bigger mats but surely there is a way to get them warmer ?
maybe foil insulation ?

thanks

where are you measuring the temperature? heat mats heat the floor not the air.

also try a few layers of tin foil underneath the heatmats, i had the problem of my low wattage small mat putting out enough temp but someone suggested that to me and it worked like a charm!
