Hi i have a large viv 5ft/2ft/3ft with a common boa in it. Is it really nessesary to lower the temps at night ?,its just my viv ranges from 89 hot side right down to 77 at the cold side.... the boa spends most of his time in the middle of the viv but some-times he goes to the coolist end. Its just i have ceramic bulb in with him so there is no real light coming from the viv just what comes in the window. Can i just leave the heating on the way it is all the time are not.Thx

yes you can no problems. If the snake is spending more time in the middle and cool end maybe the hot end is too warm. Maybe cool it down a little and the snake will utilise more of the viv.
