i'm now using a heat mat for my leo, i was wondering if i should have it on all the time or just during the day? also, what should the floor temps be for day/night? i assume that the 27*-32* is ambient air temps (that's what i have during the night and during the day, it's just off the top of my head, but i'm sure that's right?)

The temperature of the floor of your enclosure where the geckos bask should read between 84-88 degrees Fahrenheit. The night temperature can go as low as 64 F with no ill effects

But it should be on all day and night as long as the thermometer is on the floor you should be going by those substrate temps not air temps as leos are very close to the ground
Is the heat mat on a stat?
