Hi all,

My name is Rob and my current interest is in Phasmids, I currently have the following species:-

Carausius Morosus x 7 (1 Nymph)
Neohirasea Maerens x 8
Trachyaretaon Bruekneri x 4 (1 Nymph)
Phaenopharos khaoyaiensis (4 Nymphs)

I also have ova for these species incubating:-
Carausius Morosus
Spinohirasea bengalensis
Phyllium sp (phillipenes)
Eurycantha calcarata
Phaenopharos khaoyaiensis
Trachyaretaon brueckneri
Phaenopharos khaoyaiensis

All the nymphs in the above list are from the Ova I have.

I am fairly new to the Phasmid game, but I do have some knowledge about them.

My current phasmid family...

OK, here are some pictures of the little beasties, not too exotic, but I have only been keeping them for about 12 weeks now:-

These are my Giant Thorny (Trachyaretaon Bruekneri) (I have 2 females and 1 male and 1 nymph)

This is a picture of my Adult female and male (males abdomen can be seen in the bottom left of the picture).

These are my Indian (Carausius Morosus) (I have 6 and 1 nymph):-

These are my Vietnamese Prickly (Neohirasea Maerens) (I have 8 of these):-

This is one of them molting about a week ago.

My Trachyaretaon Bruekneri Nymph (baby) which hatched from some Ova (Eggs) that Sulu gave me.

continued because of picture limit....

My Carausius Morosus Nymph

One of my Phaenopharos khaoyaiensis nymphs.

These are the homes they have had since I started (in order of ownership):-
All came home in the tub, upgraded to the foldaway green house, bought my first custom made viv from sulu, then bought my first exo Terra Terrarim.

The Exo Terra I use for my indian and Vietnamese, and the custom viv top section contains my Giant Thorny's, the middle section I have now insulated with polystyrene sheeting and stuck a heat mat to the back to form an incubator for my Ova, and the bottom section currently holds all my bits and bobs. I now have the blue fish bowl on top of the custom viv, which contains all my nymphs.
