I raised Elliot's chameleons for quite a while in one of their native countries-Uganda.. I moved to Asia recently and brought one with me but she doesn't seem to be doing very well. She's newly caught from the wild. Appears a bit dehydrated--not extreme, and althought i've been misting and stuff she doesn't seem to be drinking. I'll be trying to feed her tomorrow, but i think the main problem is she needs to drink before this gets out of hand..

any advice?

Hi racerx,

W/C Chameleon's are not easiest to settle into captive life..

Some people are lucky, but most W/C Cham's don't survive more than 6 months in captivity.

If you take a look at http://www.chameleonjournals.com and go to the FAQ's area they have a section on acclimatizing W/C Chameleons.

Best of Luck!

Regards

Lawrence
