i say a 150 wat clear spot bulb on a dimming stat and if that doesnt not give correct temps put a 100-150 wat ceramic in next to it and how old is the beardie i would use Lino tiles, news paper or kitchen towels
Loose-particle substrates like sand are very unsafe for younger dragons and older dragons and can cause impaction if digested

I use a 100 watt in my 4 x 2 x 2's they seem to get the temps just right.. I may put a bigger wattage in when the colder weather hits us but for now 100w is just fine.

I'd get 60watt and 100watt from Asda / B&Q and try with the 60watt first. If it doesn't get to the right heat try the 100watt.

A 150watt would be too much and spend half its time dimmed.
