Hi all,

I have had my horned frog for a year now. I have the frog in a exo terra and the temp is always about 26-29c, and the humidity is 75-85.
Last night i went to change the water, when i noticed that one of the eyes had some skin over it and it looks swollen. I know this sounds silly, but i just thought i would ask you guys what to do. Should i bath the eye in water or just leave it?
I have taken the frog out of the tank and into a RUB, so that i could clean the whole tank, just incase there is a problem with the sub or it might be an infection.
Anything else i can do?

Thanks,

Barry.

If you can get hold of some herp-safe antiseptic ointment (vets often have it) that may help.
I will phone my vets now then.
Thanks for the fast reply mate.

My horned frog had skin over his eye so I put him in a dish of chlorine free water and I then realised that he was shedding his skin and he was ok :2thumb::2thumb:
