Any ideas how I can combat high humidity during the night. It's currently 88% at 23hrs. Thanks for any help you can give me

Add a small PC fan on a timer to withdraw the humid air, which will be replaced by less humid air in the room.

You said you had a cham already and it died after 6 months of pneumonia, which suggests the setup isnt correct.

I would recheck your conditions, constant high humidity tends to be unusual and most humidity requirements are on a cycle of some sort. High humidity without air circulation in a glass enclosure would mean stagnating air, and very likely connected to how the pneumonia came about.
The suggestion of a fan to create airflow is actually a very good one.
