Hey all,
I've got a new baby leopard geko, will be 2 weeks on Tuesday.
I don't have many concerns as Locker eats well, sleeps all day and I have seen her venture all around her enclosure.
I havent yet handled her, every evening before feeding I check her viv for poops, change water, take out uneaten worms from feeding bowl (this is an extra as she has a mix of locusts and brown crickets, seems to have between 5-7 per day). I usually sit next to her viv and place my hand in, she is less nervous and will no longer go and hide. She happily walks past my hand, maybe even brushes up against it on occasion but will not walk ok. Can I ask how long on average it can take to begin build confidence for them to approach and walk onto your hand (understand each to thier own also). I want to take it at her speed as I am seeing progress, but I wanted to get generalised advise if there is anything else I can do to build the bond.
Thanks guys!
