I am getting a pair of red eye tree frogs soon and i have a 45x45x60 exo terra glass viv and i would like to know the best way to heat it , weather a mat at the bottem but there will be alot of substrait or on the side? i was thinking of a exo terra raiforest medium, please help PM OR E-MAIL PLZ

A heatmat and thermostat should be fine. Prob best to site it on the back or side rather than underneath if you have a lot of substrate.

i have always put mine underneath, just so they dont burn themselves whilst climbing the glass. even tho its really hot theyl still go on it.

i have one inch of wood chip, 2 inches of eco earth then about an inch of moss and the mat keeps the terrarium at the right temp

i have mine in the same size exo. i use the double canopy thing with a sun glo bulb and repti glo 2.0 bulb in during the day and a heat mat mounted on the side for night time temps.
ive had them 8 months and they seem to be fine
