Hello guys! I would like to ask for your thoughts on the weight of my leopard gecko and if he is a little obese. If so, how many crickets/worms for average feeding? I also recently got another leopard gecko and she seems to be more energetic and better at hunting. He completly ignores the crickets walking past him... He is around 1 Year Old and he is a Male.
Should I be worried?

I feed him about 3 worms and 3 crickets per feeding. Some days I skip because of his age and recommendations I have seen from leopard gecko owners.

He does look a little chunky to be honest, how often are you feeding him? I personally feed my gecko 3 times a week, usually 3-4 crickets or dubia roaches per feed. I do not feed mealworms all year round as she does like to indulge on these which causes her to gain weight and fatty deposits. You'll probably find his lack of enthusiasm & energy is due to him being overweight & overfed.
