this came in to a shop near me today as a ball python, then someone else had said carpet python???? dont ask. i think its a pine snake
anyone one verifi.

ive just been reaserching,the pine, gopher and bull snake are all related but im not sure which one it is, on a different forum they think its a bull snake i just cant decide.

It's a Bull snake, realtion to the pines and gophers. Can get fairly big (10ft) and tends to be a bluffer. Lots of hissing and closed mouth striking from some of them. Most calm down well though.

Definitely a Pituophis something-or-other - not sure which, don't know too much about them.

But could be a royal in fancy dress I spose :razz:

As soon as I saw it I thought "Bull" very nice looking sanke though whatever it is. If you don't mind me asking, what did you pay for it?

don't know if fair price but i paid £65 for one about year ago. that was pine so probably somewhere round that figure.
