Our baby Royal has started it's first shed with us!

I know it's not that exciting, but, i am a geek, lol.

The eyes have gone cloudy, I have set up a hide with Moss as for some weird reason the humidity in the viv has dropped the last couple of weeks, its only on 27%. I am worried about the humidity, I have been spraying the viv but doesn't really help.

Will this moss hide be enough ??

and is there anything i can try ?

Sounds alright, as long as you spray him/her and keep the moss moist, there should be no problems 8)

I thought something was up when we tried to feed him on Sunday night, as he (I say he as it's better than saying it) wasn't interested in eating at all and i thought the eyes looked a bit cloudy, tonight however, there is no mistaking that they are definately bluey and cloudy.

Im looking forward to seeing him with fresh colours etc, i will def post pics when done

I think you're on the right track. Instead of spraying the viv, I tend to spray directly at my snakes on a daily basis when I notice they are going to shed.

Sounds good... if its the first shed it may not be the best one but as they stay with you longer you'll have better sheds..
