Just made a custom rock background and lil bits, ( will have pics up later ) but the basking site is now 62c. Is that too hot for him ? he is about 19 inches long and is about 14 months old. just to let you know he is not in the viv atm to experience the temps.
are you joking about 62'C? thats way to hot! just look on google! you are going to fry your bosc, as i have just read 40 – 42’c should be the basking area, do some research.

Hi mate i have done my research and i have found that some boscs will bask in heat of excess of 150F, i am trying to find out from other keepers of the same animal...
Boscs can have a basking spot of 130 - 150, don't know how this converts into C. If it's too hot can you not just raise the light a bit or use a lower wattage bowl?
