A series of lectures by the North Eastern branch of the International Herpetological Society (and sponsored by Coast to Coast Exotics) will start on Sunday 4th February 2007 at Vets4Pets Surgery, Grange Road. Darlington at 7.30pm.

The lectures will be hosted by veterinarian surgeon Charlotte Stock (BVSc MRCVS)and well known Herpetologist Kevin Stevens (Former President and Journal Editor of the International Herptological Society). The first is tackling commonly seen snake ailments including mouth rot, respiratory infections, scale rot, eye infections, gastric problems etc and their prevention and cure. A question and answer theme will also follow where any other topics on snake husbandry can be presented. To follow in the same vein in the future will be similar topics for lizards, tortoises and amphibians. This is hoped to become a regular event.

Any questions to Kevin at [email protected] or 01325 283756.

If anyone is attending this, please get some material that we can use on the forum...caresheets, pictures, anything. It might save a lot of new threads for common issues if the mods make stickies...
