I have tiles as a second base in the viv with kitchen towel over that with some slate chippings just scattared about.

Did originally think about using just slate as a substrate but the kitchen towel makes it so much easier to clean.

geckos can breed from when they weigh 35 grams but its best to let them reach 50 grams before breeding or it can seriously damage the females
