i have had my leopard gecko for 2 months and has been totally fine. but i noticed recently that his poo has brown watery 'patches' around it. the 'patches' are like dries out puddles surrounding the poo, is this anything to worry about? his poos are on paper towels.

Hi,

I have had a leo gecko now for around 2 years and every now and then he will also do a poo like what you have described. I wouldnt worry as long as the temps and everything are ok and the gecko is eating regularly.

I seem to notice that these watery patches are only when he has a wee (white poo) but when he has a poo and wee (brown and white) there is never a watery patch

Hope this helps

I agree, mine are the same (my beardie does the same thing) - only be concerned if they start doing anything out of the ordinary like not eating, hiding a lot or sitting in their water bowl. This could be a sign of a paracite (i know as one of mine is on meds for it at the moment!)
