Hi just wondering what substrate to use in my tank. At the min got paper towel but could I use the beech wood chip like I use for my bearded dragon

What others could I use some say Lino but wouldnt it be to sloppy for them.

Wood chip is a bad idea - if a leo swallows it, it can go in the mouth, but can't come out the other end in some cases. There was someone on here just a couple of years ago who made a thread about one of their own leos suffering from this impaction... can't remember who they are though.

And not at all! You can get textured lino tiles, which are the ones I use. There is plenty of texture for them to get a hold. :2thumb:

Slate tiles are pretty good. Just get the rough textured ones.

Ive got the self adhesive tiles that you get from the pound shop or bm home bargains in my vivs. They work well and are easy to clean.

Just bought some self adhesive vinyl tiles from b&q so hopefully they will be ok
