Hello,
Last night I noticed my sons Leopard Gecko had something strange going on with his tail. It has gone grey and hard from about half way doand the end is thin and appears to have no feeling. He is approx 8 years old.
Can anyone help?
Thanks in advance.

I would say take him to a vet asap as that would appear to be dead/dying off. How long has it been like that? It would not literally happen overnight?

It looks like it could be tail rot, he should definitely go straight to the vet. As the person above said, it can’t have just happened overnight. It must’ve been like that for a while

He was fine at the start of the week, my son handles him regularly. We have had him for 8 years. But I will get him to the vet.

Is there unshed skin there? It could be constricting the tail leading to it dying. But either way a vet is your best option.
