Hi

I have read loads of different things about lights and snakes. I would like to light my corn cages for display only. Could people let me know what would be best for the corns, as I don't want to harm them.

Thanks

What is the lighting like?

And I take it as it is cold I can just turn on and off manualy?

Should the photoperiod be changed?

Lighting is fine, it doesnt give off blue light or anything it just fills the viv with nice light. When i say its cold to the touch i mean they dont give off heat, you can run them for 12 hours then touch them with your bear hand and it will be fine. So you cant use them as heat bulbs. Just use them as you would any other bulb but dont expect any heat as they are meant to be used along side heat matts.

Eeek - it says it's true blue glass for better heat transfer and provides UVA light, despite being only 15w.
Does that make it a bad light then?
