Hey guys, just a general question about lighting inside my corn snakes Viv. I have a basking bulb for the colder months and so thats gonna stay, but i also have a UV tube bulb ordeal going on. The Viv is behind a wall and doesnt reciece any direct sunlight, but when the curtains are open, it gets SOME light. So the question is should i keep it to keep my snake better aware of day and night, or is it just wasting space. I only want to get rid of it because i found him on it last night and he's getting big and heavy, i was certain it was out of his reach but its not...

While they don't need UV to survive, there is evidence to suggest that they have higher Vit D levels when provided with it. Personally, I would keep it. But, put a wire guard over it the same way you would with basking bulbs/ceramics. It will also help with day/night cycles if the viv doesn't get much natural light.
