Nice pics mate and, a gorgeous pede.
I've got a chinese red head or scolopendra subspinipes mutilans and, they do eat non-stop.
Luckily for me I purchased mine and, three days later discovered it was wild caught as it produced a clutch of about 15 eggs, just got to wait for them to hatch.:2thumb:

I might get a hardwickei as, im going to kempton next sunday and, there is bound to be someone selling pedes.

If you find a reasonably priced Hardwickei, DON'T hesitate, They are AWESOME!!

Ahh. Looks just like mine, aint they great.
I cant wait till mine gets bigger, it seems to be growing pretty fast to be fair, although I have never seen it moult.
Well, lucky me then! i've seen it molt then it hugged its old skin for a while and ate it afterwards.
That was pretty interesting and very tense as you can imagine..

What would you say is a decent price for a hardwickei?
Adults can sell for up to £100 but to me, a reasonable price would be around £80.
Pedelings 5/6cm :£18/25.

This is not a price guide, just What I would pay for them..
