Hi all! I'm keeping insects (weta) on substrate for the first time. It is an organic compost/tropical terrain brick/budlia leaves mix. I did this mix on the advice of the insect dealer. He said this would prevent mold, but I've noticed a couple of patches in the deep part of the substrate against the glass, its the white hairy stuff. Should I just scoop out the patches I can see, change the substrate or just ignore it?

Thanks

Also the substrate has only been in since thursday morning

Surely someones encountered this problem? I'm inclined to leave it be as its only on the lower levels of the substrate, but I am a little worried :s
