hi there,

my leopard tortoise is going to be 3 in december but shes acting oddly. the vet has given her a clean bill of health and says shes in excellent condition but shes not walking properly and seems to be rubbing the end of her shell against everything. Is this possibly mating behaviour or something else?

thankyou

No, this not mating behaviour at 3 years. Either she is constipated, or trying to push things out the way. Maybe someone else will come up with some ideas?

Vikki,
Just to say, mating has nothing to do with age, but size. If you have grown your leopard fast, then it could be. If slowly then unlikely:0)
You might just have a stroppy leopard:0)
Leopard keepers might be of more help, as my leopard knowledge is limited:0(
